Our baby is seven today! It's amazing how quickly these seven years have flown by.
Here is Lydia, 5 days old. Her hair was so fuzzy! The night this picture was taken, we got an ice storm in Raleigh and our power was out for several days. The next 3 pictures are a picture of a picture so they aren't that clear.

I set her up with the paints and left the room for a minute or two and this is what I came back to!

Today we celebrated with a bike ride, a drive to look for horses (we saw several!), a horse jenga game, pizza, and a cake with horses on top! The girls are planning a sleepover with each other tonight, also in honor of Lydia's birthday. Lydia had a party a few days ago which, of course, was all horse themed!
Lydia is so precious to us. She is caring, smart, beautiful, helpful, polite, and funny. She has a contagious laugh and is always willing to help. She is a true gift from God!
