In Michigan's lower peninsula, the part shaped like a mitten, there is a little pinky finger in the west, otherwise known as the Leelanau Peninsula.
We didn't stay very long on the "Pinky Finger" because there were wasps all over! We did see some interesting things, though!
Madeline spotted this quick moving 13-lined ground squirrel. It was hard to get his picture!
