A Walk in the Woods (sort of)

What a beautiful fall day!  We didn't expect to be wearing short sleeves this late in the year!

We have been missing our walks on the greenways since leaving Cary, so today we found a greenway and took advantage of the great weather.

As the name suggests, the Saginaw Valley Rail Trail is an abandoned railway corridor that has been converted to a trail.  It's about 9.5 miles long, but we only walked about 2 miles today.  Next time, we'll have to cover more ground!  There are bridges and creeks we've not yet seen.

As we started out...

Can you tell who didn't want her picture taken?
