Latin class is over for the year and Madeline earned several awards!
She had the highest average in the class, earning her the "Latin 1 Scholar" award from her teacher.
Madeline's class took the National Latin Exam (the Introduction to Latin level) and Madeline's score was a 38/40! She received this Certificate of Merit and ribbon from the ACL/NJCL (American Classical League and National Junior Classical League).
The above awards were given to Madeline by her teacher. The first one is the Excellence in Latin Grammar award; the second is the Above and Beyond award (for doing more than was expected in her assignments); the third is the Outstanding Reader award (for reading aloud from the history book in class).
