Summer Trip, Stop #1: Boston

Here's an overview of our route.  We put 3229 miles on our van in 19 days!

Cousins enjoying the water at Nantasket Beach - Jonan and Madeline are on boogie boards trying to catch every wave.  Some adults, who shall remain nameless, were too chicken to get in the cold water.

A beautiful ferry ride into Boston Harbor - after which, SteveH graciously offered to walk to Mike's Pastry to buy cannoli while the rest of us listened to a street musician outside Quincy Market.

The hike up this Blue Hills Reservation trail was harder than expected!  Some of us are not as young as we thought we were...

after months of waiting, the American Girl store!

Lunch at the AG store: $97 and worth every penny!

Below: Lydia with Katie

Outside the Boston Children's Museum with some of the cousins.
The witch and Dorothy are just along for the ride, apparently.  The kids were all so busy inside that we didn't get any good pictures of them!

Our hosts, the Ham Fam
(This was actually taken in NH by my sister-in-law, but let's pretend it was taken in Gwen's back yard by the Webbs.)
